Benji is alone in the backwoods, after a ferocious storm has separated him from his owner. Soon Benji is the subject of a massive search, but when he sees a hunter shoot a cougar, and discovers her four motherless cubs, he is determined to find them a foster mother before he allows himself to be rescued.
