Hornsea from the Mere 
COLIN MILNER Colin Milner was born in Oxford and was brought up in Didcot and East Anglia, before going on to teachers" training college in Newcastle upon Tyne. Since qualifying, he has taught in a variety of schools in Cumbria and is currently headteacher of a village school in the Lake District. He is married, with two young daughters. Colin is interested in most aspects of artwork and landscape photography, as well as the conservation of the countryside. His love of the Yorkshire coast extends back to his childhood holid ays in Scarborough and Filey.
